Summer Camp at its Best
CAMP LIFE STARTS AND ENDS WITH FAITH
Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks is a Christian community where everyone “belongs.” Girls can be themselves. Each girl is accepted for who she is and has a chance to discover her God-given talents and abilities. Camping at Cedarbrook is about having fun, laughing, singing, and learning new skills. Cedarbrook is a camp where there are many opportunities for success and where it’s okay to fail. Making new friends, learning to respect and value the differences in others, taking responsibility, making choices, seeing the results of decisions, and working together as a team are all part of the camp experience. In this warm and accepting environment, campers thrive as they make lifelong friends, have fun, and grow in faith.

Pathfinder and Trailblazer campers (finished grades 2–6) sleep in cabins arranged in division groups that combine rustic Adirondack charm with outdoor beauty visible through the wide screened windows. Bunk beds and a smiling counselor greeting campers at the door complete the homey atmosphere. Challenger and Explorer campers (finished grades 7–11) live in large canvas tents with bunk beds and mosquito netting that sit atop wooden platforms. The canvas walls can roll up, creating a spacious and airy living space that enhances the experience of living surrounded by nature. A responsible, caring counselor lives in each cabin or tent with 7–8 campers. Each division has a modern bathroom facility with flushing toilets, hot showers, and electricity.
"She loved her week there so much - the food, the games, the atmosphere, her counselors, the girls she met, the songs, the staff bird names. Although we continue to live far away, we decided to do whatever possible so that our daughter can attend this camp every summer, because we see the profound positive impact it has on her life and how much she looks forward to it all year long."
