This may be the most popular camp game ever. I’m sure every camp has their own variation on the rules, but here’s how the Cedarbrook women play:
It’s Counselors vs. Campers in an epic game of hide and go seek/tag. In the middle of the playing area stands a large can, guarded no closer than 10 feet away by counselors. The campers are given a few minutes to scatter in the playing area before the counselors start chasing. The objective for the counselors is to tag all of the campers and put them all in jail. The objective for the campers is to stay free as long as possible. Jail can be freed if the can is kicked over (though be careful- as soon as you leave jail, you can be tagged and put right back in!).
It’s fun for both the counselors and the staff, though sometimes it can get a little too competitive.
