This is a very popular game among older campers. Each player will need a stack of small pieces of paper with as many papers as players there are (If there are 12 players, each player needs 12 small pieces of paper- the size of an index card is perfect).
Each player will write a word or phrase on their paper: anything at all. The game can be played with a time limit for each round (usually about 1 minute) or without. After the time has elapsed or everyone has finished, each player will pass their entire stack of papers to the player on their right. That player will read the top card and move the top card to the bottom of the stack. They will then draw a representation of the phrase or word (no words in the picture!).
That player will then pass the stack to the next player, who will only look at the picture on top, move the picture to the bottom of the stack, and write a phrase or word they think the picture represents. The game continues until each player has their own original stack of papers in front of them. Allow players to look at the progression over the course of the game and then share with the group- they’re usually very funny!
